The AmpliMax GenePlex Universal Kit is built for molecular diagnostic laboratories that want to reduce handoffs between total nucleic acid purification and PCR setup. It uses an automated magnetic bead workflow on NIMBUS or compatible Hamilton liquid handling systems.
Reagent cassettes load directly onto the deck, where the instrument controls lysis, magnetic capture, three wash stages, elution and PCR setup. This integrated approach reduces manual transfers and keeps the sample preparation and assay setup stages within one controlled workflow.
The system accepts dry or saline-suspended swabs, tissue and other clinical specimens, with biological fluids and complex matrices as secondary inputs. Up to 72 samples can be processed through purification and PCR setup in approximately three hours. The kit is supplied for in vitro diagnostic use.
Purified DNA and RNA are suitable for multiplex RT-PCR and clinical pathogen workflows. Direct technical support is available for deck configuration, workflow setup and routine troubleshooting.
