IsoBind Yeast DNA Kit 100-Prep

Recover genomic DNA from yeast cultures without mechanical bead beating using a manual silica spin-column workflow. An enzymatic cell-wall disruption step breaks down glucans and mannans before lysis, helping preserve DNA while reducing yeast-derived polysaccharide carryover. The approximately 45-minute workflow prepares DNA for strain typing, PCR and phylogenetic analysis.

The IsoBind Yeast DNA Kit is intended for microbiology and molecular research laboratories that need genomic DNA from yeast and related fungal cultures using a manual silica spin-column format.

An enzymatic disruption step at 37°C weakens the yeast cell wall before chemical lysis. The released DNA is captured on the silica membrane, washed to reduce glucans, mannans and other polysaccharides, and eluted in 50-100 µL.

The kit processes Saccharomyces and Candida cultures, with other yeast and fungal species as secondary inputs. The workflow takes approximately 45 minutes for 1-24 samples on a standard laboratory centrifuge.

Purified DNA is suitable for strain typing, PCR, phylogenetic analysis and plasmid-free genomic DNA preparation. Local manufacture supports dependable routine supply.
