The IsoBind Saliva DNA Kit provides clinical and research laboratories with a manual silica spin-column method for genomic DNA purification from 0.5-1 mL human saliva.
Heat-assisted lysis disrupts epithelial cells and reduces amylase activity before the sample is clarified. DNA is then bound to the silica membrane, washed to reduce mucins and food-derived contaminants, and eluted in 50-100 µL.
The workflow processes up to 12 saliva samples in approximately 30 minutes using a standard laboratory centrifuge. Buccal cell suspensions can be used as a secondary input. The kit is supplied for in vitro diagnostic use.
Purified DNA is suitable for genotyping, pathogen detection, pharmacogenomics and non-invasive molecular screening. Manufactured to international standards, with reliable local supply.
