Developed for breeding and seed-testing laboratories, the AmpliMax Small Seed DNA Kit provides scalable magnetic bead purification from hard-coat, oil-rich and starch-rich small seeds.
Samples are mechanically disrupted and lysed at 65°C before Booster-assisted magnetic capture. Two wash steps reduce oils and polysaccharide carryover, while the bead-based format can be run manually or transferred to a compatible open automation platform.
The kit is intended for groundnut, soybean, canola and comparable small-seed matrices. Processing time is system-dependent, from approximately 20 minutes for the magnetic bead stage to larger automated workflows.
Recovered DNA is suitable for GMO screening, variety identification, seed health testing and high-throughput genotyping. Local manufacture supports reliable supply for seasonal agricultural programmes.
