The IsoBind PCR Purification Kit provides a rapid manual silica spin-column method for cleaning amplified DNA before sequencing, cloning or further enzymatic processing.
Buffer GHI creates the binding conditions for PCR products while primers, dNTPs, polymerase and salts are removed during washing. The DNA is then recovered in a 40 µL elution, helping maintain useful concentration for the next workflow.
The kit is intended for standard 25 µL PCR reactions and supports DNA fragments from 150 bp to 5 kb, including long-range PCR products within the confirmed range. The four-step bind, wash and elute process takes approximately 15 minutes on a standard laboratory centrifuge.
Purified DNA is suitable for Sanger sequencing, cloning, enzymatic reactions and gel-free fragment analysis.
