The AmpliMax KingPlex Viral RNA Kit is designed for diagnostic and research laboratories that need automated magnetic bead purification across routine viral sample types on KingFisher Flex.
Proteinase K lysis prepares the sample for Booster-assisted magnetic capture. The instrument then controls bead movement through binding and three wash stages, reducing haemoglobin, protein and transport-medium carryover before a 50 µL elution.
The workflow accepts nasal swabs, plasma, serum, buffy coat, cultured cells and other biological fluids, with DBS and saliva as secondary inputs. It processes 24-96 samples in approximately 20-60 minutes and is supplied for in vitro diagnostic use.
Purified RNA is suitable for RT-qPCR workflows targeting respiratory and blood-borne viruses, as well as other downstream RNA analyses. Responsive local technical support is available for protocol setup and operation.
