Clinical laboratories can use a flexible magnetic bead workflow on a stand or open automation platform to recover viral RNA from low-input biological fluids.
Chaotropic lysis and Booster-assisted binding improve capture from low-titre specimens. Three washes then reduce haemoglobin, proteins, lipids and anticoagulants before a 100 µL elution.
Process 200 µL plasma, serum, urine, cell culture supernatant, swabs and other biological fluids through lysis, binding, washing and elution in approximately 45-60 minutes. Tissue can be used with the documented pre-lysis step, and the kit is supplied for in vitro diagnostic use.
Purified RNA supports RT-qPCR, RT-PCR, viral load testing and RNA-seq from clinical specimens. Local manufacture and responsive support help laboratories maintain continuity when volumes change.
