The IsoBind Marine Tissue RNA Kit is built for aquatic biology and molecular research laboratories that need a manual silica spin-column method for marine tissues with challenging lipid and salt content.
Homogenised tissue is lysed under reducing conditions before the cleared lysate is applied to the silica membrane. The chemistry is formulated to address lipid interference, salts and marine secondary metabolites, followed by wash steps and a 50-100 µL elution.
The kit processes fish, shellfish and other marine organism tissues, including high-lipid and salt-rich aquatic samples. The lyse, bind, wash and elute workflow takes approximately 45 minutes on a standard laboratory centrifuge.
Purified RNA is suitable for RT-qPCR, RNA-seq and transcriptomic studies. Local manufacture supports reliable supply for marine and aquaculture research programmes.
