The IsoBind Plant RNA Kit is designed for crop research, breeding and molecular biology laboratories that need a general manual silica spin-column workflow for plant leaf, root and seed samples.

Homogenised tissue is lysed under reducing conditions to limit polyphenol oxidation before RNA is bound to the silica membrane. Washing reduces polysaccharide and phenolic carryover, and pre-heated elution buffer supports RNA recovery in 50-100 µL.

The lyse, bind, wash and elute workflow takes approximately 45 minutes for 1-24 samples on a standard laboratory centrifuge. It is intended for common crop and model-plant matrices rather than specialised high-phenolic tissues.
