The IsoBind Viral RNA Kit is designed for diagnostic and research laboratories that need manual silica spin-column purification from low-input or low-titre viral specimens.
A 200 µL liquid sample is lysed with Proteinase K before Booster-assisted binding to the silica membrane. Three wash stages reduce haemoglobin, proteins and residual chaotropic salts, followed by a 50 µL elution.
The kit processes plasma, serum, urine, swab eluate and cell culture supernatant, with tissue as a secondary input after a suitable pre-lysis step. The workflow takes approximately 45 minutes for 1-24 samples on a standard laboratory centrifuge and is supplied for in vitro diagnostic use.
