Prepare total RNA from 2.5 mL EDTA whole blood with a manual silica spin-column workflow designed to reduce red-cell interference before binding. Gene Vantage Red Blood Cell Lysis Buffer, Proteinase K treatment and two wash stages reduce haemoglobin and haeme carryover, followed by two consecutive 50 µL elutions. The approximately 45-minute workflow supports gene expression, biomarker and RT-PCR applications and is supplied for in vitro diagnostic use.
