Blood Transport Buffer, 7 mL

The Gene Vantage Blood transport buffer (IVD) is suitable for the immediate stabilization of intracellular DNA and RNA at the point of collection. Nucleic acids are stabilized for 48 hours at room temperature or 3-5 days at 2-8°C. Frozen specimens can be safely stored for a number of years. 7 ml of the reagent is packaged into a 10 ml blood tube to allow a 2.5 ml blood draw directly from the patient into the tube. The same reagent is also available in bulk format reagent bottles to provide researchers and scientists with the flexibility to process already collected blood specimens.
