This optically clear, heat-seal adhesive film is designed for reliable sealing of qPCR and fluorescence-based assay plates. Engineered for precise performance in real-time PCR, the film ensures strong plate adhesion, minimal evaporation, and exceptional optical clarity—making it ideal for high-sensitivity fluorescence detection.
Each sheet measures 137 mm × 80 mm, suitable for standard SBS-format 96- and 384-well plates. Manufactured from a transparent polymer film with a uniform adhesive layer, this seal provides consistent heat activation and uniform bonding across all wells. It offers excellent transmission of excitation and emission light, ensuring accurate fluorescence readings with minimal background interference.
The film forms a secure barrier against contamination and evaporation during cycling, yet remains peelable for post-PCR analysis. It is resistant to temperature fluctuations up to 105 °C and remains stable under thermal cycling, cold storage, and short-term sample handling. The adhesive layer activates under controlled heat and pressure to create a tight, leak-proof seal without damaging the plate or leaving adhesive residue.
