Designed for clinical and research laboratories using non-invasive collection, the AmpliMax Saliva DNA Kit provides magnetic bead purification of genomic DNA from 0.5-1 mL human saliva samples.
Samples are lysed at room temperature and then clarified by centrifugation to remove mucin-rich debris before magnetic capture. Binding Buffer, Booster Compound and magnetic beads capture the DNA, followed by two wash steps and a 100 µL elution. The workflow can be performed on a magnetic stand or adapted to a compatible open automation platform.
Human saliva is the primary sample type, with buccal cell suspensions as a secondary input. Typical processing takes approximately 45-60 minutes for 24-96 samples, depending on the platform, and the kit is supplied for in vitro diagnostic use.
Purified DNA is suitable for genotyping, pathogen detection, pharmacogenomics and non-invasive molecular screening. Manufactured to international standards, with responsive support for local laboratories.
