The IsoBind Avocado RNA Kit is developed for plant pathology, breeding and transcriptomics laboratories that need a manual silica spin-column method for avocado matrices that challenge general plant RNA workflows.

Homogenised tissue is treated with the proprietary lysis chemistry and Poly Trap step before silica binding. This pre-column treatment removes lipids, polyphenols and secondary metabolites that can interfere with RNA capture and downstream enzymatic reactions. Bound RNA is then washed and eluted in 50 µL.

The kit processes avocado leaf, flesh and peel, with other high-fat and high-phenolic plant tissues as secondary inputs. The manual lyse, clear, bind, wash and elute workflow takes approximately 45 minutes and requires only a standard laboratory centrifuge.
